Digital tools that belong to you.
I help small businesses and individuals move to free software: less dependency on big platforms, fewer subscriptions, and teams who know how to use their tools.
Free first call1 · the problem
- Subscriptions pile up, and prices rise without warning.
- Your data lives with someone else, under someone else’s laws.
- When a vendor changes its terms, you have no say.
Solid, widely used free software exists for almost everything a business does. Finding it is not the hard part. The hard part is switching without disrupting everyday work.
2 · the method
-
Review
We list your tools, your subscriptions and what your teams actually do with them. You know what you pay, and for what.
-
Choosing tools
We pick the free alternatives together. Where proprietary software is still the best option, we keep it.
-
Migration
Step by step, never all at once. We start with a few people, adjust, then expand.
-
Training and follow-up
Your teams are trained, the documentation is written for them, and I stay available after the switch.
3 · for whom
Small businesses
Phones, office software, shared files, servers, managing computers and phones, security: we review whatever costs too much or locks you in.
Individuals
Using free software every day, understanding where your data goes, building good habits. One-to-one or group workshops.
4 · how I work
- Explain before installing. You understand every choice, and why.
- No dogma. Free software wherever possible, not at any cost.
- Clear costs. Including the cost of migrating, which is never zero.
- Your autonomy. The goal is that you won’t need me afterwards.
Since 2025 I have been CTO of a passenger transport company, where I led this transition from the inside: it has gained freedom and significantly cut its costs.
Before that, I spent three years teaching in BeCode’s bootcamps, in web development and cybersecurity, where people learn by doing, one mission at a time. My training follows the same method.
5 · questions
Will my team follow?
That is the real question, before any technical one. We start with a few volunteers, adjust, and everyone is trained on what they actually use.
Do we have to replace everything?
No. We start with what costs the most or locks you in the most. Some proprietary tools stay, if they are the best choice for you.
How much does it cost?
A migration has a cost, in time and support. The review is there to put a figure on it and compare it with what you pay today, before you decide anything.
Where is my data hosted?
Wherever you decide: on your own premises, or with a European host. We choose together based on your size and needs.
